Cross Country Schooling Field
Set in open farmland our Cross Country Schooling field offers a wide variety of solid fences designed for training purposes. We offer jumps for all abilities from beginners up to the more advanced.
Our cross country schooling is currently undergoing significant investment in a new water complex, quarry, ditches, banks, steps and a sunken road all built by David Evans, who has also built for the Hong Kong Olympics, Blenheim, Chatsworth and Gatcombe.
We anticipate the facility being available to hire in the Spring once the grass seed has taken. Please watch this space, and our Facebook and Newsletter for updates.
The facility is available every day of the week. We are set on sandy soil so usually find that our land can withstand most weathers. However, if for any reason we decide not to open the facility we will call you to let you know. If you want to see the forecast click on the following icon:
We ask that instructors park in the car park and walk down to the field.
British Eventing Course
We hold a British Eventing weekend twice a year in April and September. Please see the British Eventing page for more details.
After the events we often open up the course for schooling for a week or so afterwards. We have courses from 80cm up to intermediate. Please contact the office after the British Eventing to find out whether this facility is available.
